P & E Team

One of our primary funders, the Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention Program, requires that we convene a Planning and Evaluation (P & E) Team. At first we were skeptical about "being checked on," but having the Team’s input is invaluable. Regular team participants were Dr. Sonja Armstrong (WVSC Professor), Ms. Renee Robison (parent), Ms. Ashley Barnes (youth), Mr. Anthony Johnson (youth), Ms. Maxine Brown (CYFAR Associate) and Center Director, Ms. Michelle Foster.

The responsibilities of the Team are as to perform quarterly project evaluations, in order to...

	Verify status of goals and objectives
	Identify the successful components of the project.
	Enhance and further develop successful components of the program to detect any problems or barriers.
	Develop strategies for resolving or minimizing any problems.
	Meeting at least every other month and maintain minutes.
	Attending regional Project Evaluation and Planning Strategies workshop.
	Electing or appointing a chairperson to submit quarterly evaluation report.
	Will not serve in a supervisory role for overseeing day-to-day operations of grant.
