| The Kanawha Institute for Social Research & Action, Inc. (KISRA) recently received funding from the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families (Grant: 90FR0012/01) for the KISRA Fatherhood Program.
Program Goals
- To help non-custodial fathers in Kanawha and Cabell Counties to become more involved in their children’s lives.
- To help unemployed and underemployed fathers in Kanawha and Cabell Counties achieve economic self-sufficiency by providing them with occupational and life skills training and supportive services, so that they can support and reconnect with their children.
Target Audience
Unemployed or underemployed non-custodial fathers are our primary target audience.
