The Kanawha Institute for Social Research & Action, Inc. (KISRA) recently received funding from the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families (Grant: 90FR0012/01) for the KISRA Fatherhood Program.

Program Goals

bullet

To help non-custodial fathers in Kanawha and Cabell Counties to become more involved in their children’s lives.

bullet

· To help unemployed and underemployed fathers in Kanawha and Cabell Counties achieve economic self-sufficiency by providing them with occupational and life skills training and supportive services, so that they can support and reconnect with their children.

 Target Audience

Participants are required to meet the following criteria:

· Unemployed or underemployed non-custodial father.

bullet

· Resident of Kanawha County or Cabell County.
